Hey, I've started college.  ACAD (alberta college of art and design).  So, I won't be able to keep up with updating and working on the site.  Most likely not at all, and only posting new videos.  I know I haven't kept up to date before, but now that I'm busy with post secondary education it'll be even more so than before.

My apologies for not keeping up to date with this website as much as I should.  Things can get busy sometimes with school, relationships, football, among other things as well.  So I probably won't update as much as I should for a long time but I will from time to time to keep this site alive.

 

Exciting news.  There was an "Urban Skillz Camp" held here in Calgary.  Rob Walters http://www.robwalterssoccer.com was a guest freestyler there.  There was a 3v3 competition as well as a freestyle competition.  I won the freestyle competition with ease even though I was unfortunate to be teamed with less talented players for the 3v3.  Video will be released soon.

 

And also I have scrapped together some old unreleased clips from last year to make a small demo to get things rolling again.

Happy belated new year's to all the freestylers and street footballers out there!  Just to let you know, I scrapped the forums idea because... well... it was good in the beginning but then nobody came to it and it started sucking, real bad... haha.  It was quite an embarrassment actually.

 

Also, the freestyle videos section has been scrapped because I personally find it increasingly difficult to always keep up to date and post new videos that I find, so the section has mostly always been filled with old videos and hadn't been updated very much at all.  If you want to see some freestyle videos, ask for me to send you some on msn edwardyoon1127@rogers.com or over e-mail edwardyoon1127@shaw.ca OR you can search for some on websites such as youtube, googlevideos, vimeo, soccergrip, freestylersdownunder, soccerpulse and etc.

 

Anyway, the deel drie idea has also been scrapped because I have recently announced that I quit airmoves, but keep a lookout for the new video of masterclass freestyle's "street talents" consisting of myself and two other street footballers.

Sorry for the long period of inactivity in updating the website but I have been busy with school committments, with committments with my football team, and several other things I have been preoccupied with including work for my upcoming Deel Drie of 2006 video.

 

So now I am back and ready to make some updates.  I will add some new freestyle videos and update the tutorials and FAQ section.  Keep on the lookout for new updates because they will happen soon!

I was the "featured attraction" as a special guest freestyler at a competition called "Cage6" in Edmonton, Alberta.  It was a 3v3 competition played in a "cage" (with walls and stuff like indoor footy), much like the nike joga3 competition, but on real grass rather than normal floors (so it's more closely related to a real football game).

Courtesy of Lizhao from China and his freestyle dictionary, a LOT of new tricks have been added to the air tutorial section of the site.  The animations with "sscn" flashing at the end are all from his work.

Murilo Dalvi Pitol, 15 years old from Brazil, has sent us a link to his latest video.  You can find it on top of the page of "Others" in the Freestyle Vidz section.  Keep it up da freestyling and send us YOUR vids too ;-)

I couldn't get on the site for quite a while because of unknown complications, but now I'm back so I'm making a few updates to the site!  So far I have done some restructuring of the site to make it more convenient.  "Freestyle for Dummies" has now become "Air Tutorial".  I have also moved the gif animations from "The Trix" into the tutorial page itself.  Made more sense actually.  I don't know why I didn't do that to begin with.

 

Also, an air beginner combos examples video has been put up as well as more gif animations of more tricks.

 

There will be a ground tutorial section soon.  I will make one as soon as I find the time to write one ;-).

 

And the big news, our freestyle team has broken up!  Yes, we've been dismantled.  We have all unanimously decided on the forums that we all wanted to go our seperate ways and we did, with one last video of course ;-) and here it is!!!  MCF Part III:

I have found an old tutorial video I had made a while ago and decided it would be good to put it up.  It is under "the trix" and ground moves and it is a compilation which features tutorials of several basic and some not so basic ground moves - all performed by me.

He's been a long time member in the forums but is now a member of our freestyle crew.  We are happy to have him because of his smooth style and impressive skills with combos.  Welcome m8!!!

He told me over msn he's not interested in freestyle as much any more. He has expressed an interest to quit the team to open up a spot for sekhri to join masterclass freestyle. Ryan will be in one last video, the MCF part 2. This is a big loss to our freestyle crew and we loved having you on the team but ryan said himself "sekhri is 10 times better than me neway"

A new section is added as you can see on the left navigation bar.  It's called "The Trix" and it shows gif animations of a lot of freestyle moves, air and ground.  It is currently under construction but it will be a good way for beginners to learn the tricks.  Check it out here

Some new videos are added to the "Meet the Team" section and also on the forums there is a new section created by a request from "adam#17".  The "players & coaching" section is for discussing all your "in-game" stuff like passing, shooting, dribbling etc.

In the forums, http://masterclass-freestyle.tk , the "streetfootball" section has now been created by a request from dwaaz and we've reached a unanimous decision that there should indeed be a streetfootball section.  Talk about your street footy, futsal, and etc. there.

We are happy to announce that a new freestyler has joined our crew.  The skillful and experienced Slickskills.  He is a great addition and we are excited to have him on the team.
